RIDE ON RACING MX LIFT
While at my sons motocross race I began to notice that many of the racers were having problems with their motorcycle stands. It was difficult to get their bikes on and off the them. I did some research and came up with a new design that eliminated all previous stands shortcomings. Manufacturing costs for this type of product would be too expensive in the U.S. so I knew that it had to be made in China. I had a few contacts overseas and after a few meetings decided upon the city of Dalian.
I spent about 2 months in Dalian over a 6 month period. I talked to dozens of local manufactures which included every part of the building process from the box design to metal supply houses, machine shops, tig welding facilities, injection molders, powder coating, assembly, packaging and shipping. I hired a great interpreter to accompany me full time. I narrowed down the manufacturers and we went into production. We were soon exporting the product back to the U.S.
